GETTING AROUND THE AREA

Fort Hill Inn is conveniently located in the Fort Hill Neighborhood of Boston. 1.5 miles to the center of the attractions(Copley Square) It is less than a 5-minute walk to the subway, 5-minute ride to the center, 3 stops. on the Orange Line. Bikes are available for rent at the subway station.

Approximately 4-5 miles from Boston Logan Airport, Fort Hill Inn is a 20-minute ride or 30-45 by subway.

From Boston Logan/ By Car:

Start out going northwest on Harborside Dr toward Hotel Dr.
Then 0.48 miles
Harborside Dr becomesTransportation Way.
Then 0.20 miles
Merge onto I-90 W/Massachusetts Tpke W/Ted Williams Tunnel toward I-93/Williams Tunnel (Portions toll).
If you reach Harborside Dr you've gone about 0.1 miles too far
Then 1.79 miles
Take EXIT 25-24 toward I-93/South Boston.
Then 0.24 miles
Merge onto I-93 S/US-1 S/MA-3 S via EXIT 24 on the left.
Then 1.65 miles
Take EXIT 18 toward Mass Ave/Roxbury.
Then 0.42 miles
Merge onto Mass Avenue Connector.
Then 0.21 miles
Stay straight to go onto Melnea Cass Blvd.
Turn left onto Tremont St at the light.
Go thru 4 lights. You will see a sign for RCC/Roxbury Community College on the left, Dominoes Pizza on the right. Continue to the next light.
Take a left, go up the hill. Left at the first light and Left on the first street Centre Place.

From Boston Logan by Subway:

Pick up the Massport Shuttle from the terminal
From the Arrivals Level
Take the shuttle to the Blue Line Subway station
Depart from Airport on the Blue line - Inbound
Arrive at State Street
Take Orange Line - Forest Hills To Roxbury Crossing

Walking Directions from the subway:

Take a right out of the Subway Station
Cross Columbus Avenue towards the Brick building, Black handrail on the other side of the street, You will see Roxbury Community College.
You will see 3 tall flag poles in a brick courtyard, Cut across the courtyard there.
Go straight and up the street, Gardner, It is the steep street that goes up the hill.
Gardner will dead end into Centre Street, Catch your breath and go right on the sidewalk on Centre.
Go Past Harrington and the next Street on the right will Be Centre Place.
